How the heck can you compromise with people who want to kill Healthcare reform?

The Republicans always accuse the Democrats of being unwilling to compromise on healthcare but how can you compromise with folks who want to kill it altogether? The Republicans don’t want ANY reform whatsoever and will do anything possible to keep insurance companies in control while our costs skyrocket. How the heck do you compromise with people like that? If its anyone who’s unwilling to compromise on healthcare, to make at least some concessions, its the Republicans. The fact that not ONE Republican Senator voted for the bill shows just how willing they are to compromise.

If the Democrats ram through Obama-care using reconciliation are you more likely to vote Republican or less?

Reconciliation is a Senate procedure meant only for budget items that allows 51 votes instead of 60 to pass. To pass it the House would have to agree to the Senate bill without changing even a coma. This means the American people would get the Senate version corn-husker deal and Louisiana purchase intact along with it’s trillion dollar tax increases.

The Democrats deemed it the"nuclear option" when George W. Bush was President and the Republicans were in the majority. The then minority Democrats railed against it’s use as Majority tyranny.

The Republicans did use it to pass the Bush tax cuts in 2001,2003,2005 – BUDGET matters which it was meant for.

The Democrats have said that YOU the American people who by a 2 to 1 margin oppose Obama-care have simply not LISTENED to their great idea. They also maintain that as soon as the pass the bill the people will wake from their ignorance and flock back to the Democrats side happy that it was passed even if that means using reconciliation to bypass the Republican’s 41 vote minority.

My questions:

IF THE DEMOCRATS PASS THEIR BILL USING RECONCILIATION TO BYPASS REPUBLICANS ARE YOU MORE LIKELY TO VOTE DEMOCRAT OR REPUBLICAN?

IF THE DEMOCRATS DO NOT PASS ANY HEALTHCARE BILL WOULD THIS INFLUENCE YOUR ANSWER FROM THE 1st QUESTION?

1. My goal is to vote against all Progressives in either party.
2. My goal is to vote for a conservative Republican over any Democrat.
3. My goal is to vote for Moderate Republican over any Democrat.
4. My goal is to vote for Moderate Democrat over any Progressive.

Any member who votes for Health Care…I will vote against…

Getting the Best Health Insurance Plan for You and Your Family

Even the healthiest and fittest people will agree that having a health insurance plan is one of the best decisions that anyone can make. A good health insurance plan can save you a lot of money once the unexpected does happen.

The first thing you should do is to weed through the options that are available to you and your family. If you have a credible job then you will most likely have health benefits, which means your company shoulders a portion of your medical expenses. You could also sign up for a private or government health insurance plan that will cover your medical bills. Note, however, that there are some limitations to the kinds of medical procedures that health insurance companies will pay for.

There are many government health insurance plans today in the United States, namely Medicare, Medicaid, and the State Children’s Health Insurance Program. Health insurance is offered to senior citizens, American-Indians, war veterans and the military as well. These health plans are available on the local, state and national levels of government. Medicare, in particular, is a national plan for the disabled and for senior citizens over 65 years.

If you opt for a private health insurance plan, make sure you protect yourself from further payments by keeping a record of all your contracts. Compare and try to find the best individual plan that covers all the important medical procedures, hospital benefits and most importantly, a plan which suits your needs.

Some insurance plans require you to use their internal list of health care professionals and hospitals. If you are currently seeing physicians that you would like to keep seeing, verify and determine if you are covered for consultation and treatment subsidies with them.

Sometimes private agencies try to make you apply for health insurance just to make you pay. Health insurance is still a business after all; therefore, you have to read through your contract carefully and know what medical procedures and hospital benefits you are going to be covered for. Depending on your budget, you’ll usually get what you pay for. But you don’t want to pay the same amount for a plan that does not provide certain coverage when another does.

If you do not have time to research, contact and schedule to meet an insurance broker form a different company each. Take a day off to schedule the meetings one after the other. This way, you can examine each plan thoroughly, obtain the best quotes and ask them all the questions that you need to fully understand.

Find Low Cost Student Health Insurance – You Can Get It

Many college and university students are able to remain covered by their parents’ health insurance policy, even after they have turned 18 and left the nest. This is because most health insurance policies still consider these individuals as being dependents of their parents because they are enrolled in a college or university. Do not be mistaken; you can not stay in school until you’re 40 and expect to still be covered by your parents’ health insurance policy. Each health insurance company has its own policy rules and regulations.

However, not every college or university student is covered by his or her parents’ health insurance policy and must seek health insurance elsewhere. Undoubtedly, obtaining low cost health insurance is the goal; luckily, it is a goal that can be achieved.

Below are three tips to help you get low cost student health insurance.

Decide on payment options. Before you even begin your search for low cost student health insurance, take a look at your budget, how much you will be able to afford, and how often you will be able to afford it. While paying monthly seems cheaper and easier, you can usually get discounts by paying semi-annually or annually. Plus, paying semi-annually or annually allows you time to save up, which means you will be ready to send the check when the time comes, rather than scraping to make ends meet each month.

Keep searching. Not every health insurance company offers low cost student health insurance in your state. In other words, you may find it difficult to find one. Don’t give up too soon; remember, there are other health insurance companies out there.

Do not limit your options. In the event that you just can not find a low cost student health insurance policy for students residing in your state, you may also want to apply for an individual and family health insurance policy, especially if you have dependents.

How to Save Money With a Texas Health Insurance Plan

There are people in Texas that are paying too much for their health insurance plan. Health insurance in Texas has become too much for some people to bear as far as payments are concerned. The good thing about this is, that there are plenty of health insurance plans available that you and other Texans can afford. What you have to do is conduct due diligence and research your information.

Here are some things that you can do to get your money’s worth on a health insurance plan:

Don’t get anything extra, especially if it’s something you don’t need. If you can get it later, than by all means do so. You must know the state of your health before you start adding options to your coverage. With the cost of health insurance in Texas increasing every year, you could find yourself in a hole by getting options that will not benefit you. If you are in very good health, you can skip all of the extra frills. You’re wasting money by getting things that you’re not going to use.

When researching for health insurance in Texas, you don’t want to spend a lot of time looking for things that don’t apply to you. You can pare down your research by typing in the city where you reside along with the words “health insurance”. That way, you will be able scale down and not concern yourself with wasting time trying to look for things that you don’t need. When you find something, don’t rush through it. Find out what the information entails and decide whether or not it could be for you. Also, make sure that the insurance plan will fit your budget.

Getting an HMO (Health Maintenance Organization) health plan is a good choice. With this kind of health insurance in Texas, HMOs are one of the most cost-effective and affordable health plans available for most people. With an HMO, you are allowed to have doctors and medical facilities that belong to that particular network. Since having HMO health insurance is so affordable, it’s one of the best that anyone can choose from.

For those people that are at least 25 years old, their health premiums would be cheaper than for people who are 30 years old. In essence, the younger you are, the less your premiums are. The older you are, the more you would have to pay. It seems as though older adults have more health challenges and therefore ending up paying more money for their premiums. You will find it that way with plenty of health insurance plans in Texas.

You may have to do some juggling and compromising when it comes to health insurance in Texas. When choosing health insurance coverage, it’s like a smorgasbord. There may be some things that you need and there may be some things that you don’t need. At this point, you are free to pick and choose what you need. Notice the keyword here is need, not want. What you need will help you to shave off some money so that you will be able to afford your insurance coverage.

When you consult with a health insurance agent, they normally won’t charge you a few. However, some insurance companies may charge you for a paper application. If possible, you may want to go online and get the information. Fill out what you can online and submit it to the insurance company. Going online is a cheaper way to get health insurance in Texas. This is a great way to get all of the information you need.
