@modzero1 You’ll be singing a different tune when you find out you have a brain tumor and your insurance company denies your claim because its a pre-existing condition or your condition is considered terminal and there is no reason they need to pay for your 50k surgery if you’re most likely going to die anyway. Then all the years of paying 300 bucks a month is all down the drain. You basically your money away. Money that could’ve gone to the economy or even put your kids through college.

It’s too easy to find legal contract loopholes to deny coverage when profits are down for the quarter. For-profit giants can keep prices extra high and are beholden to stock holders not to their customers or to the ill. There are advantages, but there should be more restrictions to force a baseline service to the ill and unprofitable.

@stavie03 There are people sitting in office today that would do a better job for most citizens than would many that are running for that spot today.
A better solution is to move towards greater voting power by citizens on all or on many bills (allowing for representation of votes by those we trust and can “fire” much quicker than in 2 or 6 years should we find out we don’t like their past votes). Those in office would have less pressure from lobbyists, and lobbyists could not buy up everyone.

These videos are stupid. Because for as much as health Insurance companies take money they pay out more in claims. My mom is a breast cancer survivor and United paid all her claims on time and didn’t deny any suggestions for treatments. So you take your time making demons out of these companies and Ill take my time thanking them for giving my mom life.

If you’re paying your fees and abiding by their policies, they better owe you something, namely, health coverage. The point of this video is that, although policy holders are paying their fees, they are denied service by the companies as a money saving strategy, when they are already making more than enough.

@drwalepen15 All the actions you state restrict insurance companies’ income but prevent them from cutting costs.. since (unlike the feds) they can’t print money, either they will lose a lot of money and borrow it, or they will reduce the quality and availability, leading to long waiting lines. MORAL: You HAVE to control and rein in the COST of health treatment. Whose job is that ???
