Victory for Justice? Anti-drug ‘vigilante’ walks free as sentence overturned
A famous Russian anti-drug enforcer, who authorities wanted jailed for up to 12 years, has been sentenced to two and a half years probation. Yegor Bychkov tackled the drug problem in the Urals by forcing addicts into rehab. But his methods were slammed as inhumane, despite winning huge public support.

Drs Adam Kay and Suman Biswas (aka the Amateur Transplants) have created a parody of Tom Lehrer’s comic song “The Elements” changing the lyrics to drugs instead. “The Elements” is in turn a parody of Gilbert & Sullivan’s “I Am The Very Model Of A Modern Major-General” from “The Pirates of Penzance”, so this song has had quite some going over! Anyway, The Drugs Song has no official video so here’s my attempt to bring this brilliant song into the visual medium! Enjoy!
